One harvested the quills. The other is tanning itβs hide. A couple of people tried the meat and found it tasted like buttered popcorn. Me and my friend want to clean and keep the bones.  
Who knew the quills looked like that?!
I have never been that close to a porcupine, a dead one or an alive one. These are some beautiful spikes. Ouch.
