I can feel her

I’m beginning to feel her
Not just fleeting
Beginning to become a regular visitor
Perhaps one I can even rely on
That fleeting oneness
Total loss of ego and self at once terrifying and dazzling
I am a microbe in a gut flora in a stomach in a torso in a body on a planet in a solar system
And nevertheless
It is wonderfully refreshing
No god above or devil below
No judge eternal and damning
Just a love
Deeper yet, a silence profound and filling
Humming with movement
Perhaps our languages and inflections and vowels and grammar distract us from a silence
A silence unbearable if distinct and separate from ourselves
Oh and by the way
Don’t strive for happiness
Strive for learning all you can from this moment

I felt like you encapsulated the whole Truth and nothing but the Truth in this short beautiful poem. I am sure that as you keep practicing, she will visit you more often and stay even longer. After all, how can we possibly and consciously and willfully rely, as you so eloquently say, on anything but the Now?
