Fungi in Maine is fantastic and incredibly more diverse than that which I experienced in California. Here are several photos.

So squishy and slimy. I found a large chunk on the ground, the size of which I have not seen before.
Jack o lantern mushrooms which glow in the dark.
A very decayed mushroom. These are edible, although not this late in their life cycle.
