How interesting that the island is named βDesertβ. For truly, it is more like an ocean here. There is constant rain or humidity or fog. On this particular day, there was a splendid storm and heaps of thick fog. The ground was so spongy, it sucked your feet in several inches, then rose back to normal moments after you released the pressure of your foot.
